Celebrating its 50 year anniversary this year, 2010 is one of double celebration for staff of roofing specialist Klober as they also celebrate 25 years in the UK. Founded in 1960 in Schwelm, Germany, the philosophy at the time was to manufacture ventilation pipes on an industrial scale for installation on roofs of any pitch. During the seventies, the range grew to include safety and support products as well as walkway systems and roof windows. The 1990’s saw Klober continuing to set standards in the design of underlays and accessories, pioneering the development of vapour permeable membranes and dry fixing products. Both continue to influence installation methods and standards in roofing today. 1997 saw Klober complement its range of underlays with the introduction of vapour control layers. As a result of such developments it now operates throughout Europe.
